This is an open invitation to all FMFG members to join the monthly trap shoot.
There won't be any big prizes, other than pride and bragging rights, but it's an opportunity to shoot under pressure and have your shots counted.
The format will be 2 rounds (2x25 shots), with a sudden-death shoot-off in case of a tie.
Each shooter will have 2 'free' failure to fire, ie safety on, malfunction, etc for the 2 rounds (2 in total, not 2 per round).
Targets that are broken when thrown will not count.
The Scorer's decision is final.
Times:
6--6:15 registration
6:15-6:30: Warm up. (5 shots each)
6:45-finish: Shooting!.
Cost: $20 for 2 rounds, including warm-up.
Please be familiar with your gun and the basic rules of trap.
No more than one round loaded at any time and the gun should be empty/action open any time you’re not at a station or moving around.
After the 2 rounds are finished, the range will remain open for regular trap shooting and any new shooters will be welcome to try then. Skeet will not be available.
